Get Involved with Emmaus

There are many ways to get involved with Emmaus.  Here are just a few:

Become a shop volunteer.  We need lots of people to ensure the shop is open five days a week, from Tuesday to Saturday.  There will be a variety of tasks for all sorts of people.

Donate goods for sale in the shop ... you can find out more on the shop page.  And please tell your friends and neighbours about us!  We want a constant flow of really good quality second-hand furniture and other goods.

Make a donation - Your donations, however large or small, will help us raise our funding target of £2.5 million towards a fantastic new community project in Gateshead.

Fundraise for us - If you enjoy doing something fun in the name of a good cause, Emmaus is a worthy cause for your endeavours.  If you're stuck for ideas, maybe we can help!

Website badges - If you run a website or a blog, adding our badge will help us get more coverage, drive more traffic to our website and help us get found on Search engines. We provide you with all the code for either text or images.  It just takes a simple copy and paste!

Subscribe to our Newsletter - We put together all the latest information into a free periodic newsletter and occasional email updates, so you can find out everything about Emmaus. By subscribing to our newsletter online you lower the cost of distribution, and by forwarding it on to friends, colleagues and family you can raise our profile and spread the good news!

Become a supporter or trustee - We need people experienced in all walks of life, professional, technical and practical, as we prepare for major fundraising, a large building project and the establishment of a new business and residential community.
